The S30301-DN servo amplifier is used for a variety of servo applications. The amplifier is frequently used with high-frequency spindles, DC motors, and synchronous motors. The servo amplifier acts as a key component in the motor’s closed-loop feedback system. This model requires a 1.2 kVA input for continuous operation. In addition to the basic configuration, a slot for expansion cards is provided that can support various types of expansion cards for multiple functions. The I/O, PROFIBUS RT, and sercos II expansion cards are supported in addition to various third party expansion cards. The system also supports EtherCAT and ventilator control. Both of these can be retrofitted in the motor. The device comes with two analog and four digital inputs. All of these inputs are programmable. The system has a 70 mm width, 270 mm height, 171 mm depth, and a 2.7 kg mass.

The S30301-DN supports multi feedback and comes with an intelligent controller for adjusting position. In addition, a safe torque off (STO) option is also provided so that the motor doesn’t receive excess torque. For operation and parameter settings, an inbuilt software is provided that simplifies the process. A three-character LED and two buttons are provided on the servo amplifier that can be used for parameter settings if no PC is available. The system also supports the evaluation of sine-cosine signals. Furthermore, digital controllers are provided for controlling the speed, position, and current values.
