The S31061-NA is a digital servo-amplifier that is used for advanced servo applications. It offers a completely digital mode of operation and digital controllers are provided for regulating operational parameters like current, speed, and position. The system’s temperature is regularly monitored and it comes with many integrated safety features onboard. For onboard functional safety, the digital amplifier comes with safe torque off feature along with an emergency stop switch. With a peak output current of 20 A, the system has a 3.7 mH inductance. Linear motors, DC motors, high-frequency spindles, and synchronous motors are frequently used with the system. The S31061-NA comes with an inbuilt software that is used for controlling the operational parameters. The software can be used through a PC. If a PC is not available, then the parameters can be controlled with the help of two keys and a three-character LED onboard.
The S31061-NA comes with a multi-feedback and intelligent controller. The system operates on a 110 V...220 V power supply and requires a 4 kVA connection for operating continuously. The S31061-NA is provided with an interference suppression filter with the power supply and can support different types of expansion cards. Protection against overvoltage and short-circuiting is also provided. For enhanced connectivity, the servo-amplifier comes with two analog and four digital inputs. The system supports encoder emulation and resolution of sinusoidal signals. An internal braking resistor is pre-installed in the device while an external resistor can also be utilized as per requirement.
