The unit operates as a closed-loop power amplifier that supplies regulated current to a synchronous or asynchronous servomotor, enabling controlled torque, speed, and position in automated assembly lines and packaging systems. It is intended for panel mounting inside motion-control cabinets where footprint and thermal performance are constrained. This arrangement supports compact axis control in cabinets that carry several coordinated drive modules. It can be used where multiple servo axes must share limited enclosure space while maintaining responsive current control.

The drive accepts a 110 to 230 V AC supply and rectifies it to a DC link that can rise to 450 VDC. Under continuous duty, it delivers 6 A rms and draws up to 2.4 kVA, while brief overloads are supported with 15 A rms peak current. A switching frequency of 8 kHz on the output stage reduces audible and mechanical ripple. Networked control is available through the onboard CANopen interface, which allows the unit to exchange commands and status data with higher-level motion hardware. Line-to-motor losses are limited by a 4 V residual drop, and regenerated energy is handled by a 66 Ω internal brake resistor.
