The S30661-IO servo amplifier is a Kollmorgen produce designed to improve operational efficiency by carrying out the accurate control of the torque output, speed, position and general operation of brushless synchronous motors. This servo amplifier is designed by highly trained engineers according to the American and European quality standards, before the servo amplifier is delivered to the end user, it is tested and certified to meet international quality standards. The housing of the servo amplifier provides protection according the IP20 protection class, however the amplifier is still required to be installed into a control cabinet that can provide a higher degree of protection. This servo amplifier already exist as a complete unit ready for configuration and industrial operation, the modification of the drive hardware without permission by the manufacturer is not allowed and can lead to industrial accidents. The S30661-IO industrial servo amplifier is not suited for use in potentially explosive areas, ships or offshore applications, and environments with corrosive and/or electrically conductive acids. This servo amplifier is delivered with mating connectors, a set-up DRIVE.EXE software on CD-ROM, and a printed safety note. Other accessories such as the hybrid motor cable, feedback cable, motor choke, external brake resistor, power cable and the communication cable to the PC have to be separately ordered from wake industrial. A name plate is also attached to the side of the amplifier package for easy identification upon delivery.
