Product Description:

The S30601-DN is a versatile digital servo amplifier produced by Kollmorgen. The unit is a safety component built into an electrical plant or machine. It can be operated only as an integral component of such a plant or machine. The product provides a single channel STO (Safe Torque Off) function, which can be used as a functional safe restart lock. If the servo amplifier is used in residential areas, business or commercial areas, or small industrial operations, additional filter measures should be implemented by the user. The servo amplifier should be mounted in a vertical position. It must be operated only in a closed control cabinet. Ventilation or cooling is necessary to maintain the temperature within the cabinet below 40?C. For wiring purposes, only copper conductors should be used. The cross-sections of the conductor can be derived from the standard IEC 60204. The product is meant for driving a suitable brushless synchronous servomotor or asynchronous motor with control of speed, torque, and/or position. The rated voltage of the motor should be at least as high as the DC bus link voltage divided by 2 produced by the servo amplifier. The S300 servo amplifier has a current rating of 6 Arms and a voltage rating of 208 to 480 V. The device is equipped with a DEVICENET option. The maximum stacking height required to store the product is 8 cartons. The ambient storage temperature of the device is -25?C to +55?C. The equipment can be stored for less than one year without restriction. If the storage period crosses a year, the capacitors must be re-formed before setting up and operating the servo amplifier. This can be done by removing all the electrical connections and by applying a single-phase 230V AC for about 30 minutes to the terminals L1 / L2.
