They have a wide array of products which includes motors, servo drives, servo drive amplifiers and gear heads. The Servostar 300 series is one of their compact digital servo amplifiers series.
The S30301-PB is part of Servostar 300 digital servo amplifier series. The S30301-PB has a current rating of 3A rms and a voltage rating of 208-480V. This servo drive has an overvoltage category III protection according to EN 618000-5-1. The S30301-PB has two analog inputs on board and has multi-feedback support. The S30301-PB servo amplifier has a built-in safe-torque off (STO). The STO acts as a functional safe restart lock and can be operated from a safe external control such as driven contact or a semiconductor. The S30301-PB has a PROFIBUS DP expansion. PROFIBUS DP enables the user to operate actuators and sensors through a centralized controller.
The S30301-PB has several integrated safety features which include temperature monitoring of both the motor and servo amplifier. It also has a soft-start feature as well as phase-failure monitoring. The S30301-PB must be operated in a closed control cabinet making sure that the ambient conditions are within the drive amplifier’s operational range. The operational ambient temperature must be between 0˚C to 40˚C and the relative humidity must be 85%. It is advised that the S30301-PB is mounted in a vertical direction with a site altitude of maximum 1000 m. The S30301-PB has natural convection ventilation. However, it must be ensured that there is sufficient forced ventilation within the control cabinet.
