The Servostar 300 series is extremely versatile, compact and user-friendly. The S30301-NA-SB is one of the Kollmorgen digital servo amplifiers in the Servostar 300 series. The S30301-NA-SB has a current rating of 3A rms with a voltage rating between 208-480V. This servo amplifier has a single channel Safe Torque Off (STO) option. The STO acts as a functional safe restart lock. The advantage of STO is that during operation only low voltages are switched therefore, there is no contact wear between the components. The S30301-NA-SB is a base device and has no expansions. S30301-NA-SB has CANopen on board for smooth integration in the CAN-bus system. CANopen also allows for setting multiple parameters for several drives through the PC interface of one of the amplifiers.

The S30301-NA-SB has enclosure protection of IP 20 according to IEC 60529 with class 3M2 vibrations. The S30301-NA-SB has 3-character LED display which shows the status of the amplifier after it has been switched on. The LED display also shows the functions and parameters when the keys on the front panel are used by the operator. An emergency stop function defined by the IEC 60204 is available on the S30301-NA-SB and can be operated by manual actions of a single person. This equipment has several shock-hazard protections which includes leakage current protection, residual current protective device (RCD) and isolating transformers. The S30301-NA-SB digital servo amplifier also has short-circuited protection, overvoltage detection, phase-failure monitoring and appropriate insulations and electrical isolations.
