Product Description:
The Kollmorgen S30101-SN digital servo amplifier is exclusively intended for driving a suitable brushless synchronous servomotor or asynchronous motor with control of torque, speed, and/or position. In general, the device does not require any maintenance. If there is a need to change the parts or do a repair service, only the manufacturer is allowed to do that. If the user opens the servo amplifier for cleaning or other purposes, it invalidates the warranty. Only the manufacturer should clean the inside of the device. Spraying with or immersing in water or any other liquid must be avoided. The servo amplifier is equipped with SynqNet as its expansion option. The delivery package of the product has the unit, mating connectors X0, X3, X4, X8, a safety guide S300 (printed), electronic documentation on CD-ROM (in pdf format), and the setup software DRIVEGUI.EXE on CD-ROM. The nameplate can be seen attached to the side of the digital servo amplifier. The device has a current rating of 1.5 Arms and a voltage rating of 208 to 480 V. The servo amplifier must be handled with extreme caution. Only well qualified and trained personnel must be allowed to handle the transportation, assembly, operation, and maintenance of the device. It should be noted that the use of the unit is prohibited in several environments, including potentially explosive areas - environments with corrosive and/or electrically conductive acids, alkaline solutions, oils, vapors, and dust; directly on non-grounded supply networks or on asymmetrically grounded supplies with a voltage >230V; and ships or offshore applications. Care should be taken that the device does not come in contact with highly insulating materials like artificial fabrics and plastic films. The servo amplifier must be placed on a conductive surface.
