Product Description:
The S30101-EC is a high-performing digital servo amplifier produced by Kollmorgen. The amplifier comes with a built-in EtherCAT option. It should be noted that the EtherCAT option cannot be inserted later. There is a three-character LED display for indicating the status of the device. The keys on the front panel are used to show the parameter and function numbers as well as the numbers for errors that may occur. The amplifier can directly control a 24V holding brake. The maximum DC bus link voltage of the unit is 900 V. The product comes with a current rating of 1.5 Arms and a voltage rating of 208 to 480 V. The switching frequency of the output stage of the S300 servo amplifier is 8 kHz. The maximum noise emission observed is 25 dB(A). The product weighs approximately 2.7 kg. The unit has a width of 70 mm. The depth of the device is <230 mm with connectors and 171 mm without connectors. The servo amplifier can be set up using the DRIVEGUI.EXE software. The software is user-friendly and can be used to set up the device via the serial interface of a PC. If a PC is not available, the device can be set up via direct operation using the two keys on the servo amplifier and the three-character LED display. The S300 servo amplifier can be directly grounded using a three-phase network supply. The product can work with synchronous servomotors, linear motors, asynchronous motors, high-frequency spindles and DC motors. In the case of repair or replacement, the user should be cautious about the automatic start of the device. A combination of hazards and multiple episodes might occur. It should be noted that work on the electrical installation should be performed only by trained and qualified personnel, in compliance with the regulations for safety at work, and only with the use of prescribed personal safety equipment.
