Product Description
The SE10000 belongs to Kollmorgen’s sophisticated Servostar S product line. It functions mainly as a digital servo amplifier, capable of controlling servo drive operation precisely. As part of the Servostar S product line, the SE10000 employs a built-in feedback encoder, which allows the movement of the rotor to be recorded via a series of electrical signals. The SE10000 supports various Kollmorgen motor families such as the DDR, Goldline, Silverline, Platinum XT, and Submersible Goldline series. To maximize the capabilities of Servostar S amplifiers such as the SE10000, a mounting enclosure must be used for protection against external damage. When installed inside an enclosure, the SE10000 must be oriented vertically.
During normal operating conditions, the SE10000 requires a DC bus voltage of 125 to 360 V. Depending on the DC bus voltage, the output power of the servo amplifier may vary. At nominal conditions, the output power of this device typically falls within the range of 1.96 to 4.34 kW. Specifically, at 165 VDC bus voltage, the drive achieves a continuous output power of 1.6 kVA, assuming an ambient temperature of 45 degrees Celsius. At this operating condition, the amplifier can maintain a continuous output RMS current of 10 amperes. For 500 milliseconds up to 2 seconds, the SE10000 can safely transmit an RMS output current of up to 20 amperes.
Like other digital amplifiers by Kollmorgen, the SE10000 includes several protective functions to prevent unfavorable fault conditions such as undervoltage, overvoltage, and overtemperature. At 45 degrees Celsius, the SE10000 can dissipate a maximum power of 120 watts. Beyond 45 degrees Celsius, it is possible to run the SE10000 but with reduced performance and output characteristics.
