As an AC drive controller, it links a machine’s PLC or motion card to brushless servo motors and executes position regulation through its native CANopen interface. The unit operates in a position-node mode that follows CANopen commands, making it a compact motion axis for industrial automation tasks such as pick-and-place, form-fill-seal, and assembly handling.
Under continuous three-phase loading, the drive delivers 8000 W of mechanical power, drawing a steady phase current of 24 ARMS and tolerating short bursts up to 48 ARMS. Its power section accepts mains supplies at 120/240 VAC and rectifies them to a nominal DC bus of 320 VDC; an undervoltage alarm is generated if the bus falls to 150 VDC. The housing measures 96.4 mm wide, 192.4 mm deep, and 213.0 mm high while weighing 2.63 kg, supporting cabinet layouts where space is limited. No extra electrical options are fitted from the factory, yet SynqNet cards can add EnDat 2.1 or sine-encoder channels, and a separate CAN option card enables SFD or Comcoder feedback. Motor compatibility spans inductances from 0.6 mH to 30 mH, allowing use with high-speed or high-torque windings.
The drive has a current-loop bandwidth ceiling of 3 kHz and a velocity-loop limit of 800 Hz, supporting precise following of rapid command changes.
