It supports velocity and torque control modes, with SFD/Halls feedback support included on all units. The drive measures 175 mm in height, 64 mm in width, and 131.6 mm in depth.
Internal Product Review
The S20660-VTS is a Kollmorgen S200 servo drive with 2000 W continuous output power and 120/240 VAC operation. Velocity and torque modes, along with a 6 ARMS continuous current rating, give the drive strong flexibility for precise servo tuning. A strong choice for motion systems that benefit from 18 ARMS peak current during demanding load changes.

Product Description:
The S20660-VTS is a servo drive manufactured by Kollmorgen and assigned to the S200 Servo Drives series. It is designed to regulate permanent-magnet servomotors used in automated machinery. The drive delivers closed-loop velocity or torque control to coordinate motion axes with a PLC or motion controller on the shop floor.
The unit accepts either single- or three-phase mains within a voltage window of 120/240 VAC, which the internal rectifier converts to a nominal 320 VDC bus. Continuous shaft power of 2000 W is available when the supply is 240 VAC three-phase, and the drive can produce 6 ARMS continuously or 18 ARMS for up to the specified 3.0-second peak interval. A brief inrush of 240 A is limited to a 2.0 ms pulse, protecting upstream fuses while charging the bus capacitors. Hardware trips are set at 407 VDC for bus overvoltage and 397 VDC for regenerative energy, preventing component stress during rapid deceleration. Operation is selectable in velocity or torque modes, and the input phase flexibility simplifies installation on plants that offer only single-phase utility power.
The S20660-VTS supports SFD/Hall feedback as standard, while optional cards add EnDat 2.1 or sine-encoder interfaces via SynqNet, and a CAN card handles SFD/Comcoder signals; no additional electrical option package is required. Motor compatibility spans inductances from 75 mH down to 1.5 mH, allowing the same drive to run high-torque frameless motors or low-inductance ironless designs without instability. Thermal and mounting space are managed with a 64 mm width, 175 mm height, and 131.6 mm depth, enabling dense panel layouts. The minimum 3.0-second peak time coordinates with the current profile so that transient loads are handled without drive shutdown.
