The S20330-VTS servo drive is manufactured by Kollmorgen and belongs to the S200 Servo Drives series. This unit converts a regulated DC bus into a controlled three-phase output so a connected servomotor can follow precise velocity or torque commands in automated stations, conveyors, and small assembly cells. By integrating standard SFD or Hall feedback interfaces, it fits into distributed control architectures and supports compact motion systems that do not need separate feedback conversion hardware. Its compact format is suitable for panel installations where axis electronics must fit beside power supplies, I/O, and communication modules.
With a continuous output capability of 250 W, the drive can deliver 3 ARMS continuously and can rise to 9 ARMS for bursts of up to 3.0 seconds. A one-second surge rating of 750 VA supports rapid acceleration events while the DC link operates at 90 VDC. The current loop runs at 5 kHz, and the pulse-width-modulated output carrier of 31.2 kHz helps keep audible noise low during operation. Velocity and torque modes are selectable, and internal control algorithms maintain regulation across the stated inductance range. Sine encoder and EnDat 2.1 signals are accepted through a SynqNet card, while an SFD/Comcoder CAN option is available for fieldbus integration.
