The RBEH-01501-E01 brushless motor is one of the latest productions of Kollmorgen. This motor is a highly flexible device that can be applied in different industrial production systems. This industrial motor is unlike conventional motors as it can withstand a wide range of unfavorable environmental conditions. The RBEH-1501-E01 also contains a brushless winding that connects to a heatsink which serves as the heat dissipation system. This motor is commuted electrically through the use of rotor magnet position information. The housing of this motor is specially designed to protect internal components of the motor from foreign solid materials and facilitate the easy installation of the motor into any position in the industrial environment.
The RBEH-01501-E01 motor is designed with ball bearings which helps to reduce the friction generated at the motor’s shaft. The configuration of this motor should be carried out by highly trained technicians as the use of wrong installation parameters can cause dangerous movement in the servo system. The housing of this motor is also coated with black paint, which is resistant to dilute acids, water, and dilute alkaline as these substances can cause corrosion in the motor. At maximum current, this motor can reach a peak speed of about 18000 revolutions per minute. The RBEH-01501-E01 weighs about 12 kilograms; it also uses a rated current of about 17.5 Amperes.
