Kollmorgen M.1016.9694 R8 is a programmable controller that is developed for industrial automation applications. The product follows the CE directives 89/336/EEC, 73/23/EEC, 92/31/EEC, and 93/68/EEC. It follows the EMC standards EN 50081-2:1993 for industrial emissions and EN 50082-2:1995 for industrial immunity.
The M.1016.9694 R8 programmable controller operates within the EMC conformance limits of EN55011 / CISPR 11 Class A. Electrostatic discharge protection is defined as 4kV contact and 8kV air in accordance with EN61000-4-2. The controller is resistant to RF electromagnetic fields in accordance with EN61100-4-3, ENV50141, and ENV50204. Electrical rapid transients are safeguarded on incoming power lines by IEC 1000-4-4. Including the latch, the physical dimensions are 1.6 inches in breadth, 12 inches in height, and 8.4 inches in depth. The vibration withstand is 10–57 Hz at 0.15 mm and 57–2000 Hz at 2g, as specified in IEC 68-2-6. The shock withstand is 4 shocks per axis at 15g for 11 ms, as specified in IEC 68-2-27. An AUI 15-pin D port with a maximum length of 50 m, a 10Base-T RJ-45 port supporting a 100 m cable length, and a 10Base-2 BNC port with an 185 m coaxial cable length are all included in the connectivity.
The M.1016.9694 R8 programmable controller can be stored at -40°C to 85°C and work in temperatures ranging from 7°C to 55°C with its surroundings. This controller can handle humidity levels between 5% and 95%, which means it does not condense. RS232 Port 1 is designated for modem use, while RS232 Port 2 is used for firmware and configuration. +5V at 1250 mA, +15V at 30 mA, and -15V at 30 mA are the power requirements.
