The 502-04137-00 interface card is manufactured by Kollmorgen. It belongs to the PIC900 Drives series. Installed alongside the drive electronics, the board translates PIC900 axis data into standard Ethernet or serial formats so programmable controllers, supervisory PCs, and plant networks can coordinate motion sequences and monitor drive status without proprietary cabling. The board supports an Ethernet data rate of 10 Mbps, allowing deterministic packet exchange for time-critical positioning commands. For thin Ethernet networks it provides a BNC jack that mates with 10BASE-2 coax up to 185 m (607 ft). Copper twisted-pair installations use a RJ-45 8-pin port, and the segment length can reach 100 m (328 ft) without repeaters.
