The 502-03551-02R0 is an output board produced by Kollmorgen for the PIC900 Drives series. Installed inside a drive rack, it provides solid-state switching so the controller can actuate lamps, relays, or contactors on automated machinery without mechanical wear. By routing field power through isolated triacs, the board separates high-voltage lines from low-level logic, protecting the upstream processor and simplifying overall panel wiring in industrial automation.

Each board has 4 output groups with a total of 16 points and can dissipate 12.0 W of field power under full load. A replaceable fuse rated at 3 A, 250 VAC and housed in a 5 × 20 mm cartridge limits fault current on the incoming 115 VAC source. Logic and field domains are separated by a barrier tested to 2830 VAC, allowing the low-energy control lines to operate safely on standard ±5 V backplane power, where every channel draws 23 mA when energized. All timing is compatible with an operating line frequency of 50/60 Hz ±5%, so the same board can be applied worldwide on 115 VAC single-phase feeders. Field wiring lands on 25-pin card edge with screw terminals, keeping the assembly compact while still allowing clear access for service. Because switching is purely solid-state, contact bounce is eliminated and the 2 A rating is maintained throughout the life of the PIC900 output stage.
