The PRD-PE205S0G-10 is a drive amplifier built by Kollmorgen to be used with servo motor units used in production and processing systems. This amplifier represents an advancement over conventional controller units as it operates with Kollmorgen's patented torque angle control technology, which maximizes the power output of connected motors. The controller also provides motors with reliable protection against dangerously high temperatures. Customers are able to monitor, configure, and control the operation of the PRD-PE205S0G-10 through a host PC unit installed with the MOTIONLINK software technology. This software features an extensive database for many of Kollmorgen Motor series; There is also an Input/output screen for customers to easily manipulate the drive's input/output unit, thermostat options, encoder output and hardware position limits capabilities.
The PRD-PE205S0G-10 is CE certified and approved for use in Europe, North America, and Asia. To maintain a cool temperature inside the enclosure of this product, an internal fan is installed inside the unit. However, the installation and operation of this unit in an environment with ambient temperature below 45 degrees is necessary. Humidity levels around this product should also be maintained below 90 per cent. The input voltage for this unit should be maintained between 80 to about 430 volts; outside this range, the controller trips and automatically shuts down to prevent further damage.
