Product Description:
The PRD-AMPE25Ez-03 is a high-performance servo drive built by Kollmorgen Automation. This drive is a user-friendly device; it has a miniature structure that is about 140 millimeters long, 108 millimeters wide and approximately 51 millimeters thick. In the servo system, this product can be used to carry out reliable torque, velocity and position control; it can also be configured to meet the operation requirements of specific applications using the MOTIONLINK software installed in a Windows PC unit. The front panel of this servo drive features a serial communications interface, the Input/output interfaces, the motor power output and the Bus voltage input. The encoder connection interface of this drive is located on the side panel. The PRD-AMPE25Ez-03 servo drive is classified as an IP20 device, and although this guarantees protection against large solids, the drive requires installation into an additional control cabinet that can provide protection according to IP54.
The PRD-AMPE25Ez-03 is able to independently detect errors and promptly communicate specific error coding with text explanation. A run-time counter also records the time the error occurred to make diagnosis operations easier and more precise. The operation of the PRD-AMPE25Ez-03 is possible with motors with different encoder designs; it can also drive motors with Halls-only feedback.
