The PRD-0045000z-25 drive is intended for precision position drives where rapid signal processing is required. The drive supports up to 3 MHz input frequency before quadrature and 12 MHz after quadrature, enabling rapid and precise interpretation of signals. Its maximum cable length is 50 feet or 15 meters. Where in applications more distance is required in installations, extra voltage regulator must be employed to maintain system reliability.
The system operates from a 5 VDC power source to achieve low-power integration. It is A-quad-B and marker signal type supported, differential or open collector, for interfacing. Single-ended interfaces should be shunned where differential signaling is employed in a way that may lead to signal integrity issues. The frequency of encoder output is up to 3 MHz, and this is highly compatible with typical encoder types that are commonly used in automation systems. This model has a 55 mA AC-RMS drive current limit when driving with resolvers, with effective current control over driven elements.
