The PE210561 is a miniature high-performance controller unit designed by Kollmorgen with similar features to the SERVOSTAR CD product unit. This controller can be used to control motor current, velocity, and position according to international quality and safety standards. Enclosure of this drive is made from strong metallic material designed to protect the motor from large solids as defined for IP20 products. The power stage of the PE210561 is a self-protecting isolated power state; it also features a Sinusoidal commutation and opto-isolated inputs and outputs. The LED display unit integrated into the front panel of this product is a 7-segment display; error codes are communicated through this display in real time. There are two feedback interfaces on this unit; it also features a motor power connection, a Serial Communication interface, and a Bus connector.
The PE210561 control cabinet enhances the performance of connected motors through its patented torque angle control technology, it also operates with a self-tuning velocity loop algorithm. During operation, this unit provides full protection against short circuiting, over temperature damage, over-current, and feedback loss. There is also a flexible current foldback protection provided for this unit. The nominal bus voltage for this unit is estimated to be about 24 volts; it also operates with a continuous current of 10 amperes. The maximum input current for this unit is about 20 amperes.
