The PE205561-MZ is a compact servo amplifier produced by Kollmorgen as part of the PD Servostar Servo Drives series. Designed for low-voltage motion systems, the unit conditions a DC bus and delivers controlled three-phase output to compatible servomotors. Within an automation cell, the drive closes the torque, velocity, or position loop by processing encoder feedback and forwarding real-time commands received over the control network. At its nominal operating point, the drive supplies 5 A RMS per phase continuously, while short bursts can rise to 10 A RMS per phase during rapid acceleration before current limiting intervenes.
