The PE205561 is a controller unit that can be used to monitor and adjust the torque, velocity, and position of industrial motor units. This built is a product of Kollmorgen automation, it is a perfect alternative for operators who have limited installation space and require the operation standard of SERVOSTAR CD product series. The external enclosure of this Unit measures about 140 millimeters in length, 108 millimeters in Depth and about 51 millimeters in height. The Unit operates with the MOTIONLINK software environment, which is also used for the CD product series. This software requires installation on a host computer with the Windows operating system. The front panel of this Unit features several connection interfaces, including the motor power output, Bus voltage input, serial communication interface, and the 24 volt logic power supply.
The PE205561 can be used for buried magnet motor designs; its patented “Torque Angle Control” technology allows it to handle the operational requirement of these motors. There is also a flash firmware memory provided for this Unit, which allows for easy field upgrade installation. The PE205561 is designed to carry out an extensive monitoring operation, which includes system status checking, speed, position, performance recording and lots more.
