The NEXTSTEP-240 LRES is a high quality micro-stepping drive that has been designed for advanced automation tasks. This model is available with high torque NEMA motors. The platform is designed for achieving high positional accuracy and guarantees convenience and enhancements in features. When using this device, the throughput of the integrated systems is improved drastically. The device provides a very high level of output among open-loop positioning systems. This model has a long lifespan and durability. It is designed with a compact geometry and space saving arrangement. Due to a small footprint, this model can be installed in tight spaces. The system can deliver twice the amount of power as compared to competitors. All the standard features of an advanced drive control system and a motor are included in this model.

The NEXTSTEP-240 LRES can be operated on both a clockwise and counter-clock wise inputs. Users can choose from up to eight resolution settings. Resolutions as high as 50,000/revolution are available. This drive comes with an adjustable motor current waveform that ensures step to step accuracy and smoothness. This device can safely dissipate large amounts of energy from inertial loads because of a built-in regenerative circuit. Optimum motor performance is ensured because of anti-resonance circuitry installed inside the drive. As a result, more torque is available throughout the speed range. The motor vibration is also significantly reduced because of the anti-resonance circuitry. This model provides very high acceleration/deceleration rates for any step motor. The speed/torque of the curve of this model is also better than its counterparts in the market.
