The MT1506A1-R2C1 is a brushless servo motor produced by Kollmorgen within the MTC Servo Motors series. This compact rotary actuator converts drive current into controlled shaft torque for position, speed, and acceleration loops in automated machinery. Its size and operating characteristics make it suitable for pick-and-place stations, light conveyor axes, and other applications that require controlled rotary motion.
Its rated mechanical output reaches 0.67 kW, allowing the motor to provide continuous shaft power at a rated speed of 6000 rpm. Under stall conditions, the windings can sustain 1.353 N·m without exceeding thermal limits, while the drive must supply 2.89 A RMS to maintain that torque. Short bursts can elevate shaft torque to 4.62 N·m, accommodating momentary load spikes during rapid indexing. The line-to-line resistance is 5.33 Ω, and the insulation voltage is 250 V RMS. These electrical values help determine compatibility with the connected servo drive.
