The MSM100-6-604-S-0KA is a brushless servo motor manufactured by Kollmorgen within the MSM Brushless Servo Motors series. It converts electrical power from a 460 V drive into controlled mechanical rotation for indexing stations, small conveyors, and other automated axes. An integrated single-turn, high-resolution feedback device allows the connected controller to read the rotor position precisely and close the motion loop without an external encoder.

During continuous operation, the motor delivers 0.72 Nm of torque, which is the load it can carry at its base speed without overheating. When short bursts are needed, it can produce a peak torque of 3.8 Nm, providing additional acceleration for rapid starts or quick directional changes. The winding has a torque constant of approximately 0.46 Nm/A, indicating how much torque the motor produces for each ampere of current. Mechanical output remains stable up to 6000 rpm, allowing the motor to support high-speed processes while remaining within the operating limits of its integrated bearings.
