MCSS03-51210-004 is a high-performance multi axis controller from Kollmorgen’s renowned ServoStar MC series, designed for industrial automation applications that require control of multiple axes of motion. It is a high performance, multi-axis controller capable of controlling up to 3 axes of coordinated motion via the SERCOS interface. Regardless of axis count, only two fiber optic connections are required between the controller and drive amplifiers. It installs as a standalone unit. If required, operators can order the version that installs in an industrial PC. The controller provides exceptional precision and efficiency, making it ideal for demanding motion control tasks. With an integrated design, it supports a wide range of Kollmorgen servo motors, ensuring seamless compatibility and optimal performance. Operators must have the Basic Moves Development Studio installed on a host computer to program and configure the drive. This software allows operators to develop, edit and debug user programs. Two RS-232 serial interfaces are available for user input. One 10 Mbps Ethernet port enables network connectivity. A fieldbus option card is available as an option for remote I/O.
