The MH-427-B-61 is one of the best industrial electric motors produced by Kollmorgen. It is in the M GOLDLINE and it is equipped with high performance and control system that is fully automated. It has a built-in encoder equivalent output which has the capability to strike out the need for an additional position feedback device. Its encoder also allows for easy connectivity. It works by having a 230V input power supply voltage. It has advanced sinewave commutation technology which provides smooth, precise low-speed control and allows for high-speed performance. The MH-427-B-61 has the ability to withstand internal explosion without bursting or allowing ignition to reach outside the motor frame. It has a rugged resolver feedback and an integral thermostat to regulate the temperature of the system in order to avoid excessive heating.
The MH-427-B-61 has IP20 sealing and front mounted gearhead. It is properly insulted with class H insulating materials. The class H insulator can accommodate a maximum temperature of 180oC according to NEMA designations. It has a continuous torque of 42.0Nm and a continuous power of 7.9kW. Its amplifier control has a value of 30rms. The amplifier increases the value of the input signal to produce higher output signal needed for smooth operation. Is has a compact size with a light weight of 5.0kg. Please note that the pressure on shaft seal must not exceed 0.21 kg/cm2 so as to avoid forcing more of the air side of the seal lip down into the shaft. The MH-427-B-61 has a quality feedback system which contains resolver with a peak torque of 230.5Nm. It has an input resolution of 12 bit and a velocity loop rate of 500µs.
