The MH-425-D-63 is an amazing industrial motor manufactured by Kollmorgen. It belongs to the M GOLDLINE models and it has an exceptional thermal design to provide continuous torque performance and acceleration capabilities in a compact package. It is one of the strongest amongst the M-series of the motors. It has the velocity and torque control system along side the serial command. Its feedback system has a resolver with a peak torque of 230.5Nm.
The MH-425-D-63 is properly protected with various 24 V input/output configurations. It can operate within an ambient temperature range of 0oC to 45oC and a storage temperature within the range of -20oc to 70oC. It has an input resolution of 12 bit and the motor current ripple frequency of 16kHZ. It has a quality remote cable and RS-232 serial interface up to 19.2Kb. It’s LED is segmented into seven different parts which is mostly used to display the meter readings of the motor.
The MH-425-D-63 has screw terminal mating connectors C3 and C5 which are included with a SERVOSTAR amplifier. It functions effectively within the relative humidity range of 10% to 90% with no condensation. It has a maximum speed of 1550 rpm and a peak current rating of 110 phases. It is equipped with high power rating of up to 15.3kW and a peak torque of 230.5Nm. The value of its closed loop velocity bandwidth is up to 170Hz. The large value of its closed loop velocity bandwidth is responsible for the reduction in the measured position and the desired position of the motor’s system. It has a long-term speed resolution of 0.01% and commutation update rate of 125µs.
