The M-403-B-B1-S is brought to the global market by Kollmorgen. It is a member of their medium inertia GOLDLINE series of motors which are known for providing high value along with high performance. It is a versatile motor that incorporates rare earth neodymium iron boron magnets which M series motors to have an excellent thermal design. The rare magnets allow for exceptional acceleration and torque performance. The motor was specifically designed with a compact footprint.
When combined with SERVOSTAR digital amplifiers, the system is very easy to set up for end-users. The full line of Kollmorgen GOLDLINE motor options is available when used with the SERVOSTAR amplifiers. The M-403-B-B1-S uses a 115 or a 230 volt AC power supply and is equipped with standard resolver feedback. With a compact and fully digital design, installation and set up of the M-403-B-B1-S could not be easier. The unit can be controlled via three different algorithms and even includes a self-tuning function. These features allow the unit to provide high performance easily and quickly.
With pole placement, PDFF and PI control algorithms along with the use of SERVOSTAR PC-based MOTIONLINK. The user is taken through the key steps for installation and set up in a step by step, automatic procedure. The M-403-B-B1-S further features advanced sinewave commutation technology which provides precise and smooth low-speed control alongside high-speed performance. With precision-balanced current loops and closed-loop sensors, torque control exactly as the end user wants. The torque angle helps to enhance the performance of the motor thanks to the patented design. The M-403-B-B1-S is packaged in an attractive metal package that is rugged and compact. It has a space-saving and modern appearance. The unit is capable of speeds up to 7500 RPM. The unit is UL recognized and features a built-in thermostat. It is protected by IP-65 sealing and Class H insulation.
