The LSM215-589-204-M-0KA is a brushless servo motor produced by Kollmorgen within the LSM Brushless Servo Motors series. The unit converts electrical energy into controlled rotary motion for positioning tables, presses, and other automated axes that require high torque density and repeatable speed regulation. Its compact frame contains a wound stator and permanent-magnet rotor, allowing the motor to connect directly to a compatible digital drive for closed-loop motion control.
At its rated operating point, the motor provides a continuous shaft torque of 66 Nm while running at a nominal speed of 2000 rpm. For rapid indexing or overcoming breakaway friction, it can deliver a peak torque of 210 Nm when the drive supplies a peak current of 144.2 A. The electromagnetic design provides a torque constant of 1.84 Nm/A, allowing the servo controller to calculate output torque from the commanded current.
