The LSM165-173-304-E2-0KA is a brushless servo motor manufactured by Kollmorgen within the LSM Brushless Servo Motors series. It acts as a rotary actuator that receives regulated current from a matched drive and produces controlled torque for indexing tables, pick-and-place heads, and other precision axes in automated machinery. Integrated 2000-line incremental encoder feedback reports position and velocity to the controller so that motion profiles remain accurate under variable loads.
During continuous operation, the motor delivers 19.5 Nm of torque, a level set by the thermal limits of its windings and housing so production duty cycles can run indefinitely. At the rated speed of 3000 rpm, this torque equals about 6 kW of mechanical power.
