The LSM165-119-454-S-2KA is a brushless rotary servo motor produced by Kollmorgen for the LSM Brushless Servo Motors series. It converts current from a compatible servo drive into controlled shaft torque for precise rotary motion. This operating principle supports repeatable positioning and speed regulation as external loads change during a production cycle. Typical applications include positioning tables, pick-and-place heads, packaging axes, and other automated mechanisms that require responsive acceleration and accurate stopping.
The motor provides a continuous torque output of 13.5 Nm and can produce a short-term peak torque of 51 Nm during acceleration or transient loading. Its rated speed is 4500 rpm, supporting rapid motion in applications that require a broad operating range. A torque constant of 0.87 Nm/A relates applied current to generated torque, while a voltage constant of 105 V/kRPM describes the back electromotive force produced as rotational speed increases.
