The LSM165-119-454-M-2KA is a brushless servo motor produced by Kollmorgen and supplied in the LSM Brushless Servo Motors series. Designed for closed-loop motion axes, the unit converts drive-generated current into rotational energy so that conveyors, pick-and-place heads, or indexing tables can reach commanded positions at repeatable speeds within automated machinery. Position feedback is provided by a multi-turn absolute encoder, allowing the controller to recover the axis position after a power cycle without requiring a new reference movement.
The motor delivers continuous torque of 13.5 Nm, allowing production equipment to sustain its rated load without overheating. The motor can reach a maximum speed of 4500 rpm for applications that require rapid movement. During acceleration, the drive can supply a peak phase current of 70.7 A. Temporary load surges are supported by a peak torque of 51 Nm, providing additional force for short acceleration or deceleration intervals.
