The IL06030A1TRP1 linear motor coil is manufactured by Kollmorgen as part of the IL Ironless DDL Motors series. This ironless direct-drive forcer works with a separate magnet track to generate smooth, cog-free linear thrust. By eliminating ferromagnetic attraction, the coil has low moving mass, which supports high acceleration and micron-level positioning. The moving coil carries only the active winding assembly, so the stationary magnet track supports the heavier magnetic structure off the axis carriage.

During continuous duty, the coil develops 30 N of thrust while drawing 1.8 Arms, establishing its thermal operating point at 25 °C. The coil has a DC resistance of 6.1 Ω and an inductance of 1.3 mH, which support current-loop tuning in the drive. The current-to-force relationship is expressed by the 16.8 N/Arms force constant, so a one-amp change produces nearly 17 N of additional force.
