When paired with a moving-forcer assembly, this rail supplies the fixed magnetic field that allows iron-core stages to generate high thrust without a mechanical transmission. Its steel backbone, precision-ground faces, and integrated mounting pattern allow the rail to be anchored to a gantry baseplate while maintaining the air-gap accuracy required for repeatable positioning.
The rail is secured through 8 bottom mounting holes threaded to M5. Each hole offers a thread depth of 8.0 mm, so standard socket screws can reach full engagement without bottoming.
