The Kollmorgen direct drive series offer some exceptional features making it a worthwhile option. The motor series offers brushless and frameless servomotors that require no maintenance at all. The Direct Drive Linear motors by Kollmorgen Danaher Motion are attributed to high-acceleration, and can also resist high amount of external force, if needed. They whole product line is divided into many series, of which Ironless and Ironcore have earned quite a reputation. Especially, the Ironcore, featuring single sided permanent magnet plate, is more in demand because of cost-effectiveness, customization, and durability. The Ironcore series is further divided into two categories; ICD05 series and ICD10 series and each of them features 5 different series based on the combinations of magnetic assemblies, size and coil assemblies.
The model number MCD0500256001 is a component of the Ironcore Linear motor series by Kollmorgen Danaher Motion. The magnet assembly offers two different combinations as it features in both the ICD Magnet Ways series. The MCD0500256001 magnet assembly has a total magnet length of 256mm and its mass is approximately 3.93 kg/m.
