The IC11030A1TSP1 is an IC11 series direct-drive linear motor that can deliver high force for each frame size over various speeds. The motor operates very smoothly because of the anti-cogging design. The device has a compact mechanical assembly without using any mechanical transmission components and it features high peak accelerations above 10 g. It is used in applications that require dynamic performance.
The linear motor operates at an ambient temperature of 40°C. The device functions at either 120VAC or 240VAC. The zero-backlash unit conforms to the low voltage directive requirements for installing it in a machine. The motor also meets IP 23 requirements. It renders very smooth velocity regulation using low ripple. The silicon steel laminations have coil windings on them that increase the force generated using a single-sided magnet-way. The device produces 144N to 6916N continuous force so that it can be used for a varied range of applications. The high thrust force motor does not include pulleys, ball screws, belts, gearboxes, or rack and pinions in its construction.
The zero-maintenance direct-drive unit offers high efficiency with low thermal loss. The motor also features high positional accuracy and high stiffness. The stiffness makes it suitable for various process forces such as machining. The device supports liquid cooling for continuously increasing force and the slow rise in temperature.
