Product Description:
The H43HCFT-LNK-NS-00 hybrid stepper motor is built by Kollmorgen for the H Hybrid Motors series. Using a combined permanent-magnet and variable-reluctance topology, the unit translates digital pulse trains into controlled shaft increments for indexing, pick-and-place, and dosing axes in industrial automation. It is packaged with a smooth shaft and a heavy-duty NEMA mounting face so that it installs directly on equipment frames that require open-loop positioning and holding capability.
It occupies a NEMA 42 frame with a 4.28-inch outside diameter, enabling direct interchange with other large hybrid motors. The motor delivers 18.7 Nm of holding torque, indicating strong static torque for keeping loads in position at standstill. Axial bearings accommodate up to 1780 N, while radial bearings tolerate 623 N, so belt tensions and thrust loads can remain within the bearing limits. Each full step advances the rotor by 1.8 degrees, and three internal magnetic stacks help support strong low-speed torque. Thermal resistance is 0.90 °C/W, and the standard construction supports operation in ambient temperatures from -20 °C to +40 °C.
Electrical insulation is rated Class B at 130 °C with 100 Megohms of resistance at 500 V, and the windings withstand up to 340 VDC for reliable dielectric performance during micro-stepping. The rotor carries an inertia of 1.69 × 10⁻³ kg·m², giving moderate acceleration behavior in coarse indexing tasks. Total mass is 11.7 kg, which helps the motor remain stable when it is fastened to machine plates. With 200 discrete steps per revolution and a step accuracy of ±1.5%, the motor positions loads repeatably in open-loop mode. An 8-lead winding terminates in a System MS connector so the phases can be wired in series or parallel for the required low-speed torque characteristics.
