Product Description:
The H43HCFB-LNK-NS-00 is a hybrid stepper motor built by Kollmorgen within the H Hybrid Motors series. As a two-phase, multi-stack stepping unit, it translates digital pulse trains from an indexer or drive into fixed angular motion, allowing precise open-loop positioning of machine tables, actuators, and metering devices in industrial automation lines. Because the shaft advances in repeatable increments, the motor is well suited for indexing tasks that need consistent positioning without a closed-loop feedback device.
The motor is sized to the NEMA 42 frame standard, giving a flange pattern that mates directly with heavy-duty NEMA mounts. A full-step increment is 1.8 degrees, and the rotor arrangement produces 200 discrete steps per shaft revolution for coarse-to-medium resolution indexing. Thermal limits are supported by Class B, 130 °C insulation and an insulation resistance of 100 Megohms measured at room temperature with a 500 V megohmmeter. These dielectric properties help limit leakage current and protect the windings when the motor is used within its stated electrical limits.
The termination scheme uses a System MS Connector on flying leads, and the mating plug is the military-style MS3116F14-12S. Eight conductors form the stator phases and taps, so the control cabinet must accommodate an 8-lead interface. Continuous service is permitted in ambient temperatures from -20 °C to +40 °C, making the unit suitable for both refrigerated process areas and standard plant floors. Installation follows the heavy-duty NEMA foot pattern, and the motor has a smooth single shaft without a shaft seal, so external protection is recommended in wet environments. Feedback devices are omitted, and inherent step accuracy remains within ±1.5%, allowing predictable motion when load inertia and slip are managed by the drive profile.
