Its hybrid construction combines permanent-magnet and variable-reluctance principles to deliver precise incremental rotation without an external encoder.

Its NEMA 42 frame establishes a large mounting footprint for heavy-duty brackets. With 1580 oz-in holding torque, the rotor resists back-drive when the phases are energized but motionless. Each phase draws 4.0 A, and together with the 39.2 mH phase inductance, this winding behaves like a high-inductance motor. The motor advances 1.8 degrees per full step, giving 200 positions per revolution with step accuracy of ±1.5%.
