By combining permanent-magnet and variable-reluctance features, it delivers repeatable step increments that support open-loop positioning tasks in industrial automation.
Its frame size of NEMA 42 sets the bolt circle and shaft dimensions used by heavy-duty NEMA flanges, and the single-stack lamination supports a holding torque of 828 oz-in.
