As a two-phase device with discrete step positioning, it converts pulse commands from an indexer or drive into incremental mechanical rotation for pick-and-place modules, small conveyors, and other motion axes in industrial automation. The frame, windings, and shaft dimensions follow standardized NEMA guidelines, allowing use with common motion components while maintaining Kollmorgen’s manufacturing tolerances for repeatable positioning.
