The H33NRFT-LNN-NS-00 hybrid stepper motor is produced by Kollmorgen within the H Hybrid Motors series. The unit combines permanent-magnet and variable-reluctance design features to deliver incremental rotary motion for positioning tasks such as material indexing and valve actuation. By advancing the rotor in discrete steps, it supports open-loop control while still providing the holding torque and repeatable motion expected from a NEMA frame motor. This operating method suits applications that need predictable step counts and simple drive control rather than closed-loop servo regulation.

With a frame size of NEMA 34, the motor advances the shaft by 1.8 degrees per command, giving 200 full steps per revolution. Step placement error remains within +/- 1.5 %, which supports repeatable indexing and pick-and-place movement. Three rotor stacks and a rotor inertia of 0.025 oz-in-s² help the motor accelerate quickly at low speed, and the winding is arranged for strong low-speed torque. Electrical insulation withstands up to 340 Vdc, leakage resistance is 100 megohms, and eight #22 AWG lead wires in a regular leadwire harness allow flexible connection to compatible stepper drives. The eight-lead arrangement also supports multiple wiring options with suitable drive electronics.

The motor has a maximum body length of 5.06 in, along with a 2.875 in pilot and a 3.875 in bolt circle for standard NEMA mounting. The pilot helps center the motor on the mating surface, and four 0.218 in mounting holes support direct fastening to brackets or adapters. The thermal resistance is 2.0 °C/Watt, so normal cabinet airflow is often adequate for heat dissipation. The smooth shaft can handle axial thrust up to 180 lb and radial load up to 35 lb.
