The Kollmorgen H33HRFB-LNK-NS-00 is a NEMA 34 hybrid stepper motor. It has a low inertia that allows it to be interfaced with applications requiring very high accelerations speeds. The motor features 3 rotor stacks, a frame with a diameter of 3.38 inches, and a NEMA mounting configuration. The H33HRFB-LNK-NS-00 has 8 leads and its winding type supports additional standards. With a laminated rotor, the motor is capable of reaching an optimal performance. For the shaft, the motor features a single shaft configuration, and a straight keyway. Note that although the motor does not feature an encoder feedback, it has encoder mounting.
The H33HRFB-LNK-NS-00, as with other Kollmorgen conventional hybrid stepper motors, has a leadwire hookup and a standard NEMA front end bell. The motor is covered by a one-year warranty. However, the warranty can become void if the motor is disassembled, subjected to excessive shock/vibration, and or dropped. Although the motor is designed to withstand a wide range of operating environments, it’s not meant to be used in dusty environments, locations where oil, water, and other liquids is likely to be spilled and come into contact with the motor, and environments where the surrounding temperature exceeds 40 degrees Celsius or falls below -20 degrees Celsius.
Note that where the H33HRFB-LNK-NS-00, or any other Kollmorgen step motor, must be operated in dusty and environments prone to the spillage of liquids, a shaft seal must be provided to raise its ingress protection (IP) to 65. Since the motor is factory assembled, disassembling it in the field negatively affects its performance. Kollmorgen motors such as the H33HRFB-LNK-NS-00, are easy to use, cost effective, and versatile. Kollmorgen stepper motors provide a high torque despite their small sizes.
