Product Description:
The H22NRHC-JNN-NS-00 hybrid stepper motor is produced by Kollmorgen within the H Hybrid Motors series. Designed for tight motion zones, the device turns pulse trains from an external drive into accurate rotary increments, providing open-loop positioning for indexing tables, miniature conveyors, optical stages, and other axes where speed is moderate and repeatability must remain consistent. Its compact format suits applications that need dependable motion without a feedback device.
With a NEMA 23 frame, the motor shares the 57 mm square mounting pattern used on compact machinery, and its mounting style follows standard NEMA dimensions. Internally, the windings carry a thermal rating of Class B, 130 °C, and leakage is limited by an insulation resistance of 100 Megohms. The motor uses the Additional Standard C winding, and its dielectric strength reaches 340 Vdc, allowing safe connection to many DC-powered microstepping drives. The wiring harness exits through a regular leadwire cable arranged in a 4 lead parallel configuration, allowing series or parallel current paths without special connectors. Two rotor stacks and a low-inertia rotor core reduce settle time during quick reversals, while the standard housing tolerates routine industrial handling and typical NEMA mounting surfaces.
The unit operates between -20 °C to +40 °C, making it suitable for unheated warehouses or conditioned equipment racks. Positional repeatability is supported by a step accuracy of ±1.5%. Each electrical sequence advances the shaft by 1.8 degrees, and exactly 200 steps complete one full turn. A single smooth shaft simplifies coupling to pulleys or pinions, and the motor is supplied without a shaft seal, so it should be installed in clean, dry environments. Because no feedback device is fitted, control logic relies solely on commanded pulse counts, while the low-inertia rotor supports rapid acceleration.
