Product Description:
The H22NRFT-LNN-NS-00 is a hybrid stepper motor produced by Kollmorgen as part of the H Hybrid Motors series. By combining permanent-magnet and variable-reluctance features, it advances one discrete step whenever the drive issues a control pulse. This supports accurate open-loop positioning in pick-and-place heads, labeling machines, and light-duty indexers used across automated assembly lines.
Physically, the unit occupies the NEMA mounting envelope with a 2.25 in circular frame, corresponding to the NEMA 23 size code, so it can retrofit common brackets without adapter plates. The motor uses Class B, 130°C windings, and resistance to dielectric breakdown is supported by the 340 Vdc insulation voltage rating and an insulation resistance of 100 megohms. The motor employs a laminated rotor and is built with two magnetic stacks to raise detent torque. NEMA-style face mounting is supported, and wiring exits as regular lead wires for straightforward field termination. Ambient operation is allowed from -20°C to +40°C, allowing use inside unconditioned enclosures on factory floors.
The motor has a step angle of 1.8 degrees, which totals 200 full steps per shaft revolution. Together with the stated ± 1.5 % step accuracy, this supports repeatable indexing without external feedback devices. Eight stator leads are brought out, giving the motor 8-lead connection flexibility for series or parallel coil wiring to match drive voltage or current limits. The windings are optimized for maximum torque at low speed, making the motor suitable for direct coupling instead of gearbox multiplication. A single, smooth output shaft is supplied without a shaft seal, so external protection is needed if liquids or dust are present. Because no internal feedback element is included, closed-loop correction must be handled by an external sensor if required.
