It is designed to deliver closed-loop torque and speed control in hazardous industrial zones where flammable gases may be present. This allows motion systems such as mixers, conveyors, or pumps to operate safely behind rated enclosures.
At a continuous stall torque of 17.6 N·m, the motor can hold a load without overheating while drawing a steady 9.5 A RMS. Its back electromotive force constant is 113.0 Vrms/kRPM, which indicates the voltage required from the drive as speed rises.
