The E43HLFT-LNK-NS-01 is a hybrid stepper motor produced by Kollmorgen for the E Hybrid Stepper Motors series. As a two-phase, discrete-increment actuator, it converts digital pulse commands from a drive into angular motion that positions tooling, indexing tables, or material-handling equipment without requiring a feedback circuit. This design provides high holding torque and repeatable positioning while keeping wiring and controller complexity low in industrial automation cells.

The motor is built on a NEMA 42 frame and uses a step increment of 1.8 degrees, producing 200 full steps per mechanical revolution with a step accuracy of ±1.5%. Three magnetic stacks and SIGMAX construction increase flux density, while the winding profile is optimized for maximum torque at low speed to provide high stall torque for direct-drive axes. Internally, Class B insulation rated for 130 °C withstands thermal rise, and an insulation resistance of 100 megohms, along with a dielectric rating of 340 VDC, keeps the phase windings isolated from the laminated core. The stator is wired for operation without feedback, so the controller determines position from the commanded step count rather than from a sensor. Eight individual stator leads exit the lamination pack, allowing either series or parallel connection to a microstepping drive to adjust current and impedance.

A splash-proof termination board is accessible through a conduit entry with a 1/2 in. NPS pipe thread that accepts standard liquid-tight fittings. The heavy-duty NEMA flange mates directly with large gear reducers, while the smooth shaft couples to clamped hubs and includes a shaft seal that resists coolant ingress. The overall length is limited to 10.56 in. (268.23 mm), allowing the motor to fit inside compact machine guarding. Continuous operation is permitted within an ambient temperature range of -20 °C to +40 °C. The internal wiring uses an eight-lead bundle that terminates on the board and supports flexible connection arrangements.
