It converts digital pulse trains from a stepper drive into repeatable angular increments, providing open-loop positioning for pick-and-place, indexing, and light transport duties on automated machinery. The compact housing adds incremental motion where closed-loop servos are unnecessary, reducing component count while still meeting industrial accuracy requirements.

This motor occupies a NEMA 34 frame and uses a heavy-duty NEMA face for rigid installation against gearboxes or belt drives. At rest, it delivers 1300 oz-in of holding torque, generated by a four-stack rotor that improves detent strength. Electrical performance includes a per-phase rated current of 7.7 A, a phase inductance of 4.4 mH, and a phase resistance of 0.33 ohms, which allows drives to command high slew rates with manageable heat rise.
